Pakistan Captain Sarfraz Ahmed said he hoped his side's Champions Trophy final win over arch-rivals India would be a catalyst for the full return of international cricket to his homeland.

With the exception of Zimbabwe's tour two years ago, Pakistan have had to play all of their 'home' matches outside their own country since a 2009 terror attack on Sri Lanka's team bus in Lahore.

Pakistan, who won the ICC Champions Trophy 2017 have moved up to sixth position in the ICC One Day International rankings sending Bangladesh at seven and Sri Lanka at eight respectively.

Sri Lanka are placed 8th with 93 ranking points, while South Africa leads the table with 119 points, followed by Australia and India with 117 and 116 points respectively.
